Role overview

We are seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Account Executive to join our growing team. As an Account Executive at AllSpice.io, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business growth by identifying, engaging, and closing prospective customers. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of technology and hardware development, helping engineers and companies achieve their goals through modern tools and processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Sales Execution: Own the full sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring a consultative and solution-oriented approach.
  • Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline by identifying and qualifying prospective customers through outreach, referrals, and marketing-generated leads.
  • Customer Engagement: Conduct discovery calls, product demos, and negotiations, effectively communicating AllSpice’s value proposition to diverse stakeholders, including engineers, team leads, and executives.
  • Market Insights: Develop a deep understanding of the hardware engineering landscape and customer pain points to tailor solutions and messaging.
  • Initiative-Driven: Independently develop collateral and resources as needed, demonstrating ownership and initiative in a resource-constrained environment.
  • Collaboration: Partner with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to align on goals, share insights, and continuously improve the customer journey.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Use CRM and other collaboration tools (HubSpot, Notion) to track activities, manage opportunities, and forecast sales performance.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience: 2-5 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding quotas. Experience in selling to hardware companies, engineering teams, or technical buyers is a plus.
  • Customer-Centricity: Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and position solutions effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Project Management Skills: Lead a cross-functional team as you map out and execute expansion strategies for high-profile accounts.
  • Creative Self-Starter: Excited to work in a fast-paced, dynamic setting without a predefined playbook, where your ideas and experimentation will establish best practices and shape the sales approach.

This is a hybrid role based out of our San Francisco, CA office.

The base salary for this role is $110,000, with an On-Target Earnings potential of $220,000.
