This is an exciting opportunity to join an early-stage startup and work closely with our founding team. Join us to help bring our hardware design collaboration product to the next level.

This is a high-impact role that comes with lots of autonomy and requires a self-driven, collaborative person.

• Work closely with our founders, product, and engineering teams to create, maintain, and champion the company’s product roadmap
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the Engineering and Go-to-Market teams to design, scope, and prioritize roadmap items
• Lead the brainstorming, refinement, and testing of potential new solutions
• Define, document, and communicate objectives, requirements, and constraints for product initiatives in collaboration with our software engineers
• Regularly engage with current and potential customers to conduct user interviews, understand their pain points, and gather insights
• Create mockups and user stories using design tools
• Research and stay current on industry trends, the state of hardware tooling, and user needs to inform project decisions and the prioritization of tasks

• Identify opportunities to improve the new user onboarding experience
• Work with customers to prototype new hardware design data rendering
• Develop concepts for electronics component library user interface
• Build product strategy to increase utilization of in-app hardware CI/CD tools
• Work with customers and sales to enhance the billing experience for users
• Design and collaborate with the engineering team to build a Git client for hardware teams
• Collaborate with the go-to-market team to update our product documentation and execute product adoption strategies.

You don’t necessarily have to be proficient in all of these, but the more you know the better:

• 2+ years of product management experience working on highly-technical, infrastructure, or developer tool products
• Project management skills with ability to lead and collaborate with multiple stakeholders (from engineers to customers) to move projects forward
• Experience managing software projects using tools such as JIRA, Notion, or a similar issue tracking system
• Knowledge of UX/UI best practices, user-centered design and prototyping skills
• Exposure to building products in the hardware space or working closely with hardware teams
• Can think in terms of the big picture and deliver on the details
• Beyond just shipping new products, you obsess about continuous product improvement
• Comfortable sharing feedback and can operate as a peer to our executive team
• Able to manage ambiguity and is self-directed

• Early-stage startup experience
• Electrical or hardware engineering background
• Knowledge of software workflows and Git platforms like GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket
• Available to work out of our flex offices in San Francisco or Boston on a hybrid-basis (2-3 times / week)
